Family Time

  • Visit our local amusement park, Currys Portrush, indoor and outdoor entertainment.
  • Go Geocaching, there are lots of geocaches around Bushmills and the North Coast and the first one might be closer than you think.
  • Build sandcastles on 2 miles of golden sand at Portstewart Strand and Barmouth, explore the 6,000 year old sand dunes. Pack a picnic or head to the promenade where there are great cafes and ice cream parlours to chose from.
  • Go to the movies at Coleraine movie house. Whilst there have some fun in the arcade, try the mini golf or go bowling! Younger children might enjoy Alley cats soft play centre.
  • Find the pirates at Treasure Island soft play area over three floors in the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre, Ballymoney.
  • Try zip lining, archery, raft building, climbing wall and sooo much more at Carrowmena Activity Centre. Limavady.
  • Paddle in the outdoor swimming pool at the Arcadia Portrush with the play park and sand area overlooking the wonderful Whiterocks beach.
  • Ride a donkey and pet all the animals at Rosepark Farm in Ballymoney.
  • Go surfing in Portrush (and not on a computer!!) with Alive Surf School or Troggs.
  • Try you hand at scuba diving with Aquaholics.
  • Are you the next Harry Houdini?  Can you escape from the Elementary Escape Rooms in Portrush?
  • Go on a farm visit, see the whole process from farm to fork with Broighter Gold farm tours.
  • Love chocolate? Enrol in the Chocolate Making classes with Chocolate Manor or craft classes in The Designerie in Bushmills.
  • Saddle up and go horse riding overlooking the Glens of Antrim at Sheans Horse Farm, Armoy.
  • Try zip lining, archery, raft building, climbing wall and soooo much more at Carrowmena Activity Centre, Limavady
  • Have a go on a hovercraft or football golf at Foylehov
  • Head over to Nutts corner circuit for family a family karting experience.
  • Bounce down to JumpLanes Coleraine trampoline arena (aged 5+).

A beautifully maintained campsite, facilities clean and underfloor heating brilliant, especially in October! Games room brilliant for kids, safe, bright and perfect when weather is wet. Lovely walks around the site and the wee lakes and great access around the North Coast. An extremely enjoyable stay and look forward to returning next season.

Our second time at Ballyness. As good as if not better than the first stay. The facilities and amenities are first rate and the park is always kept in a lovely condition. The park is on the doorstep of all the attractions that the Causeway Coast has to offer, with loads of beautiful places to visit as well as a wide range of restaurants and bars to relax in. A fantastic site!

Just spent a weekend at Ballyness - really enjoyed it and will return for longer next year. The site is spotless in every way and very well laid out. The washing facilities would be worthy of a good hotel. Our 5 year old loved the playpark on site and games barn. Then you have Bushmills within walking distance and all the attractions of the north coast on your doorstep.

Friendly, helpful staff, who make you very welcome on arrival. Well laid out site with good spacing between pitches. A relaxing tranquil atmosphere with lovely walks around camp site. Amenities are spotlessly clean and very well maintained. We have been back to Ballyness several times and each time we are there it is as enjoyable as the first time. We will definitely be back for a few nights stay next season. Would definitely recommend as a place to come for a stay.

We made the long trip to Ballyness from Tipperary for a weekend stay and I must say everything about this site is 5 star. First impressions are lasting and the moment we entered the site it was evident that Ballyness is a very well run site. Tarmac roads , concrete pitches each fully serviced, washrooms & toilets spotless, lots of space for kids to play and a beautiful walk area with a pond with lots of wildlife. Will be recommending this site to family and friends.
